1711 Studios at the VERSUS × Pinterest ‘Match Fit’ Event

VERSUS and Pinterest brought their ‘Match Fit’ series to life with an evening celebrating the style, creativity and community shaping women’s football. 1711 Studios was there to document the energy of the night and connect with the voices driving culture forward.

The panel set the tone for the night. Led by VERSUS Editor-in-Chief Amie Cripps and joined by designer Antonia Bronze, lecturer and women’s football advocate Hattie Crowther, and stylist Coco Mell, the conversation moved effortlessly between football, fashion, and authenticity. It wasn’t abstract or performative, you could see the connections in the room, in how people dressed, moved, and engaged with each other.

Around the room, guests explored Melissa Gardener’s portraits of women’s football fans, stitched scarves with artist Nicole Chui, and even tried their hand at chess, small moments that turned the basement into a space where creativity and play coexisted. The VERSUS Grails display drew its own attention, featuring Prada x adidas boots, a Prada ball handbag, Nike SK Airs, T90 flip-flops, and rare jerseys that highlighted the intersection of fashion and football in a tangible, inspiring way.

DJ Bisola Otun kept the soundtrack flowing, while free flowing pizza, Picoso and White Claw cans helped keep the crowd moving. It was one of those evenings where you left having met someone interesting at every turn, and the energy felt effortless but electric.

We had a great time documenting the night and capturing the details that made it memorable. Take a look at some of the photos we got, they show the atmosphere, the people, and the energy better than any description could.

For 1711 Studios, nights like this are a reminder of why we do what we do: to capture culture as it’s happening, and to shine a light on moments where creativity, community and identity collide.
